Portillo's Sterling Heights

Ordered my usual, $25 order. Beef and cheddar add sausage, pop, onion ring, cake slice. So for that price I expect it to at least be the right order and I HOPE that it tastes good. Neither happened. They made it wrong, they took the food back, just sprinkled cold cheese on it, and gave it right back me. Then I had them make a new one and the new one was worse! Lol. They reacted like they were confused as to why I wanted my $25 order to be right. Maybe i just caught them on the wrong day. But for that amount of money, I won’t go back to find out.

Typical Chicago style shaved beef sandwich mildly spiced with great tasting Aujus without the usual overt saltiness. Great menu for creative beef hot dog choices in varying traditional Chicago style choices. Portions are generous.....go hungry!

God I love this place ❤️. I wish that there were more of them so I wouldn't have to drive 45 minutes to get their amazing chopped salad with their amazing house dressing. But it was definitely worth it. Service was fast and efficient.

Chili cheese dogs are delicious here!! Onion rings with cheese sauce is great as well. Of course, if you are coming here for the first time, getting the Chocolate Cake Shake is a must!

Really enjoyed our meal here. Resturant was clean and well decorated. Staff are super friendly and were working hard at every point. Food was excellent and fresh! Hotdogs were great, fries with cheese sauce was bomb, and the beef sandwhich tasted amazing. The cakeshake is a must! Will return for sure.
